The new ”$600 rule”
Under the new rules set forth by the IRS, if you got paid more than $600 for the transaction of goods and services through third-party payment platforms, you will receive a 1099-K for reporting the income.

Plus just how many people do you think the billionaires have working on

So now the back and forth between regular/constipated guy and sockpuppet

Congrats! You actually managed to tell the truth. The extra agents are
to get the wealthy to pay their fair share.

Don't you know that in Progressive Land, 'fair share' is explicitly
constructed to be a never-achievable standard? Whoever is accused of not
paying their fair share today will never be paying their fair share, no matter
how much they actually *do* pay. "Fair share" with leftists is an
ever-changing concept.

I've come to realize that the *real* definition of "fair share" is always
"more than you're paying now", no matter how much that is, no matter how many
tax increases we've already been through. Like a unicorn, we never actually
get to the magical land of "fair share" where enough is finally enough.

Why do leftists always claim no one's paying their fair share?

According to the Congressional Budget Office, the top 40% of
households by before-tax income actually paid 106.2% of the
nation's net income taxes in 2018.

At the same time, households in the bottom 40% took in an
average of $18,950 in what the CBO called "government
transfers" in 2018.

Taxpayers in the top 40% of households were able to pay more than
100% of net federal income taxes in 2018 because Americans
in the bottom 40% actually paid negative income taxes, according
to the CBO study entitled, "The Distribution of Household Income
and Federal Taxes, 2010."

Top 40%: 106.2%

Bottom 40%: -9.1%

Seems like the well-off are paying their fair share to me.

Here in California, the wealthy pay 90% of the income taxes. Out of a
population of 40 million people, only 144,000 people pay 90% of the taxes.
You'd be hard-pressed to rationally explain how that's not their "fair
share".

Also, when leftists like Biden and Effa Pee Pee complain about people "not
paying their fair share", they're not just talking about the likes of Jeff
Bezos and Mark Zuuckerberg. They're talking about anyone making $150,000 or
more. That was Obama's yardstick during his campaign for the people "not
paying their fair share" who needed to be soaked with more taxes.

Someone making $200,000 is hardly 'idly rich' under any sane definition of the
term, especially in places like Los Angeles and New York, where that level of
income barely keeps them in the middle class.

According to the state of California, I'm "not paying my fair share" either. I
pay over 50% of my income to some level of government (and I'm certainly not
flying around in my personal jet or week-ending on the Vineyard), and yet I
constantly have one leftist group after another here in California telling me
that I'm not "paying my fair share". And then when they get their way, and
taxes go up, it doesn't take but maybe a year before they're back with their
hands out again, wanting to raise taxes again, and telling me I'm still "not
paying my fair share".

It's amazing how every time they pass a tax that is touted as "ensuring the
wealthy pay their fair share", they're back again within a year or so with a
new tax, also touted as "ensuring the wealthy pay their fair share".

But wait, I thought after the previous tax went through, that meant the
wealthy *were* paying their fair share. Now suddenly they're not paying their
fair share anymore just in time for this new tax to come along?

And if this one passes, a few years down the road the same gang will be back
claiming the wealthy aren't paying their fair share again and wouldn't you
know it, they have an exciting new tax to solve that problem...

And then there's this little gem. Old Joe "Pay Your Fair Share" Biden has been
caught not paying his taxes.

Taking their income as corporate profits allowed
the Bidens to avoid paying a combined 3.8% payroll
tax on the more than $13.5 million in income they
received from 2017 through 2019.

This chart lays out the details:

https://thefederalist.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Screen-Shot-2020-09-
29-at-9.41.56-PM-1024x489.png

To most ordinary Americans the Bidens circumvented
a staggering amount of taxes: $513,540 in total over
the three years.

So Biden can spare me the lectures about not paying my fair share until he
starts paying his.
