Nigel Farage, who made a public ruckus over his recent "de-banking"
where his bank refused to let him have an account any more over his
political views, has been reinstated at his bank and received public
apologies both from the bank and the BBC:

Farage pledges to stay on top of this issue to preclude it happening to
others. It's not clear yet if the various other people who have been
denied bank accounts will also be "re-banked" or if this was just a
special exception for Farage....

Glad to hear it because even though he's a "piece of work" he's NOT
involved in terrorism or drug dealing which are the usual reasons for
"de-banking"

That's exactly the point of the ruckus he made. It seems like the banks
have turned into a Western version of the CCP Social Credit Score where
if you don't express the right views, you get disconnected from vital
services. I'm sure the whole woke/ESG movement has a LOT to do with that.

So your theory is that they waited 5 and 1/2 years to go after him on
that? Wow, you really work HARD at earning that Stupidest Human on
Usenet label don't you?

If you'd watched the video I cited rather than wasting scarce brain
cycles on stupid theories, you'd find that his bank had apologized to
him. The British Prime Minister has even ordered the relevant regulators
not to let this happen to anyone else.
