It's an easy enough problem to happen for someone who is older. It
could be because they broke a bone when they fell or it could simply
be they don't have the strength to get up off the floor. I know that
may be hard to imagine if you are fit but someone who is sedentary can
easily lose the strength necessary to get up off the floor even though
they are otherwise healthy.
