Above is a brilliant silver world, covered in ancient dust, a source of myth for
its larger, bluer sister. Though it is filled with wonder and majesty, it is
devoid of life of its own.

But below, in the lunar caves, something moves in the darkness.

There should be no light down here, but thru cracks in the moon rock, a lurid
violet glimmers. There should be nothing to illuminate, but a figure is moving,
searching, testing. A hand presses into the cracks, slides along them, searching
for something invisible to merely human eyes...

There is very little atmosphere to carry sound, but some deep vibration rumbles
thru the gray rock. The figure straightens, stepping backwards at a pace that is
quick but not hasty.

The violet light grows in brightness, gaining some awful, nameless intensity, as
if the strange sun of some other world were trying to outshine our yellow star.
The rock face begins to shake itself apart, revealing a strange, uncanny shape
as the source of the light; the shaking grows ever more violent, ever more
chaotic, and yet the figure stands, watching, waiting.

All at once it stops, and for a moment, there is peace; and then the uncanny
shape shatters, as if some delicate Faberge egg were to hatch, and a roiling
cloud of smoke and light explodes out from it, unleashing a roar that can be
heard for miles around despite the aforementioned lack of atmosphere.

"AAAAHHHHHhhhhhh..." The light fades, but the smoke does not clear; it collects,
into the outline of a humanoid figure, with eerily glowing eyes and a shadow
like wings. "Finally, the eternal slumber has ended, for... Digital! Demon!!
Galactica!!!"

The other figure steps forward, with a chuckle. "Well, I should certainly hope
so. We're well overdue for a reunion."

"Darling!" The smoke cloud coils around them in a dangerously lovey embrace. "So
it was you who freed me!"

They smile and stroke the softly glowing form. "Only by the power of the Purple
Event."

"Then our minions have surely been resurrected as well..." Galactica looks up
through the hole created by her explosive emancipation, at the shining blue
shape of Earth above. "Finally... the Moonlight Symphony Overlord Cabal will
conquer the Internet World!"
