What I think is bizarre is the woman in my Toastmasters club who wears
a mask at every meeting yet shakes hands with other members (some of
whom club members know have previously had COVID) without hesitation.

I don't mind her wearing a mask but doesn't handshaking carry the same
risks?

Covid is completely airborne. That's the latest... so shaking hands is
risky, but unless you then stick it inside you, it won't infect through
the skin.

I wouldn't go sniffing that hand, or sticking it into various openings,
including rubbing your eyes.

There are always more people waiting for a transplant than there
available and suitable organs. She's hardly the only person who chose
death over vaccination.
