Even more impressively, Bob Barker worked steadily in TV, appearing
every weekday (sometimes twice per day) from 1956 to 2007. That's a
record that is likely to stand forever.

Even better he was still doing his job because he loved into his mid
80s. That's absolutely fantastic. Most people who work that late do so
because they have to just to pay the bills and they don't get a choice
of what to do. The man was unbelievably lucky. I don't know but I
imagine he spent his retirement years still supporting those charities
he liked. I can still remember him calling for people to spade and
neuter their pets.

Yeah, I saw that earlier. Everyone wanted in on the news. We know that
back some years ago he still seemed to have his wits about him as he
guest hosted as part of that April Fools. I think it was back when he
was 93 so six years back he seemed okay, but maybe he was okay most of
the time that far back. I suppose different people suffer from the
disease at different rates so it may have been more of a sudden rush
to the bitter end for him.
