Here are some wrestling news items for you:

- Smackdown from last week opened with John Cena. He opened by cutting a promo, but then Jimmy Uso came out. That led to Cena hitting an Attitude Adjustment to Jimmy. Austin Theory and Grayson Waller faced Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar in tag team action. Waller hit a Rolling Thunder Stunner on Escobar for the pin. Bobby Lashley cut a promo putting over the Street Profits. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn appeared, and they had a staredown with the Street Profits. KO and Zayn took on Cruz del Toro and Joaquin Wilde next. KO delivered a Stunner to Cruz for the pin The Miz appeared in the ring and vowed to beat LA Knight at Payback. Knight appeared, and they fought. The A-LIster gave Knight a Skull-Crushing Finale. Shotzi faced Bayley. The match saw Charlotte Flair interfere on Shotzi's behalf; she pinned "The Role Model" for the win. In the main event, AJ Styles faced Solo Sikoa. Jimmy then interfered, which led to Sikoa using a Samoan Spike for the win. That led to Sikoa and Paul Heyman attacking Styles to close the show. In the ratings, Smackdown drew 2.443 million viewers.

- AEW Rampage from last week opened with a tag team battle royal to determine the opponents for MJF and Adam Cole's ROH tag team titles at All Out. The Dark Order's John SIlver and Alex Reynolds won when Silver eliminated Trent Baratta of Best Friends. Nick Wayne then teamed up with EL Hijo del Vikingo to face Kip Sabian and Gringo Loco. Vikingo won a 630 senton. The squash of the show was when "Hangman" Adam Page beat Bran Keith with a Buckshot Lariat. The main event was Skye Blue and Willow Nightingale against Taya Valkyrie and Anna Jay. Sky pinned Jay with a Code Blue. Taya attacked Skye, but then Willow chased her out of the ring. In the ratings, Rampage drew 372,000 viewers.

= AEW Collision from last week opened with Tony Khan announcing that CM Punk had been fired after the brawl at All In London. RIcky Starks opened with a challenge to Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat for All Out, but then Steamboat revealed that another Dragon was going to face Starks at All Out - Bryan Danielson - in a strap match. The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn defended the AEW World Trios titles against Daddy Magic, Angelo Parker and Daniel Garcia. Max Caster gave the Mic Drop to retain. Nick Wayne wrestled again, teaming with Komander to take on Aussie Open. The fomer ROH tag champions won. Dennis Rodman appeared in a segment with Jeff Jarrett and the Acclaimed The Outcasts faced Dr. Britt Baker DMD, Hikaru Shida and Kris Statlander in a trios match. RUby Soho won the match for the heels by pinning Baker after she was sprayed by Saraya. Powerhouse Hobbs squashed someone named GPA, and was confronted by Miro. That led to Jay White facing FTR's Dax Harwood. White won with a Bladerunner as Cash Wheeler and Bullet Club Gold interfered.. The show went up against Payback (more on that later) and the start of college football, and it was hampered getting an audience of Punk fans, as well. As a result, Collision drew a meager 355,000 viewers.
