Team Monkey likes to belittle musicians because my Donkey and I regard them as great poets (and the only poets that Will Donkey knows).

Michael Monkey even went so far as to propose a moratorium on Bob Dylan posts.

I'm more broadminded: I am willing to included printed verse under the heading of "poetry."

Exactly, eh. Anything anyone writes is poetry as long as they say that it's poetry. For instance, you could take the first homeless, alcoholic pissbum you run into, and ask him to write a poem -- and (assuming he knows how to write) whatever he writes will be a poem.

I'm mean look at my blaaargh, "Fatty's Hat," for several examples.
