This poem was inspired, in part, by the Necronomicon, which it references.

"The Ink Black Heart," which we recently talked about on AAPC, concerns a fictional program on YouTube and a game that was created from the program. It takes place in a graveyard. There is a worm in the graveyard who does funny (ha ha) things. Not sure what else it did, since by the time we read to the end of the 1000 pages of the book, we had forgotten.

The Necronomicon is the book that the Egyptians would have written if they hadn't been so concerned with building.

I find the idea of composing a "spell" with obsolete spellings and references to phony book based on Mesopotamian mythology to be pretentious in an immature, geek boi way.

I much prefer passing off Leonard Cohen's lesser known poems as my own.

Are you insulting Isaac L. Chase?

No wonder your poems are terrible. We don't like Cohen's anything, so if you are stealing from him, it's just more garbage.
