Wrapping your head around decades and even centuries worth of history
can be a pretty big challenge requiring lots of time and reading so I
was rather pleased to find this concise but accurate video about the
history of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. In only 11 minutes, it
does a decent job of hitting the major points.

Note that this video was made 12 years ago and naturally doesn't
include the most recent developments but it certainly establishes a
great deal of the context of the current situation.

There are many excellent comments below the video adding extra bits of
detail so they're worth reading too.
