These could mean we can watch more than one movie.

Could they also mean we are not obliged to watch a specific movie, and we can choose the movie we want to watch. We are going to watch one movie, but the one we want.

I don't think they work with that meaning, but I am not sure.

(1) could, but is a poor way of expressing the idea. In (2), the
language, highly plastic though it is, has been twisted beyond breaking
point - to which one response might be: Gonnae no dae that!
