Black Hole

Alone, a shadow attempts
to climb into the light --
The songs cannot be heard,
though bellowed --
poetry cannot be read,
though written --
grabbed
by an unquenchable
thirst, now dried to dust
by self worth --
ego, the power force,
unable to emit,
nothing but darkness.
