The Marvels has been out for a couple of weeks, it's in trouble. The
SAG-AFTRA strike is over so Brie Larson can now talk about the movie,
but despite this Disney Marvel isn't getting the results they want with
the MCU. This has sparked critical media to cover for The Marvels,
coming up with every excuse under the sun. While the Director Nia
DaCosta decided to directly attack the fans herself. Is The Marvels

MADAME WEB TRAILER *BURNS* IN MEME *HELL*:
Madame Web trailer is a Spider-Man spin off movie from Sony outside of
the normal Marvel Cinematic Universe. Sony cannot make Spider-Man
movies with spiderman in without marvel making them. So these odd none
MCU Marvel movies like Madame Web are trying to fit in a new Spider-

I watched pretty much nothing yesterday - I played pickleball in the
morning (and now I'm sore!!), and then my brother and I drove home from
my sister's place in the afternoon, and then went out to dinner.

All I saw was a few seconds of Oregon vs. Oregon State. Later, I tried
out my new Sony bedroom TV some more, and left on LMN playing 2022's
"It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Murder" (with Cristine Prosperi and
Erin Gray!) via the Spectrum app on the Apple TV box.

(Sidenote: Prosperi has had no credits since this film, which means
she's had nothing in the last year, and has no upcoming projects listed
on IMDb - I wonder if she has left the business, or is just taking a
break to have a kid or something...)

Let's put it like this. The game is designed to be something like a
slower paced version of tennis. Yes, that makes it great for retirees
but the idea is anyone can play.

Wow. Tennis was extremely popular back in the 90s with our local
courts always booked. That slowly changed till today there's almost no
use of the courts for tennis. Instead you will see people playing
soccer in them or skating (even though they aren't supposed to.)
Pickleball still doesn't seem to have taken off locally.

Perhaps I live in a tennis mad area - where during the summer months
at least our municipal courts are usually booked solid for 2-3 weeks
in advance.

(Obviously right now when temperatures are within a degree of freezing
and raining with days a lot shorter it's easier to get a booking - but
for sure I've described the situation here between late spring and
fall)

We even had a well known retired pro tennis player ask our municipal
council to take his name OFF an indoor court complex named for him
because he was now a realtor and it was costing him listings as some
clients assumed the municipality was paying him for the use of his
name! (and that he wouldn't work as hard for his clients since he 'was
rich enough he didn't really NEED the income....which is emphatically
not true unless you're a pro in the international top 10 which he only
was for a year or two)
