A few years ago I bought the box sets of the surviving Avengers stories. However it's only now I've started watching them. Rather annoyingly, I've got the first issue of Series 2 which has a couple of faults in it (mixed up scenes in one episode, and some missing dialogue in another).

Plenty of names in there familiar to Doctor Who fans. I just watched Propellant 23 which, apart from Honor Blackman (who appeared in Trial of a Time Lord), also has Nicholas Courtney (the Brigadier) as the pilot and Geoffrey Palmer (Edward Masters in Doctor Who and the Silurians) as Paul Manning.

Paul McGann is a semi-regular in the police drama show "Annika", which
recently finished it's second season / series. He plays the romantic
partner of the show's title character played by Nicola Walker, who has
been in some Doctor Who audio stories.

WOW!! I hadn't recognised Him as The eighth Doctor!! He just appeared a
couple of weeks ago and Nicola had just arranged for her and her
'daughter' to check out a display at a Museum and, lo and behold, the
Paul McGann character is just coming out of the Museum!!

It's a good series! Even second time arround!

broadcasting the new Series!!

We finished watching the second series / season a couple of weeks ago
on New Zealand's Sky TV channel Vibe. it isn't known yet if there will
be a third series / season.
