�Monty Python� alumnus John Cleese took some serious backlash for an X post
in which he appeared to claim that Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler was
�preferable� to former President Donald Trump.

Cleese laid out the post by first listing �five ways� that Hitler was
�preferable� � and came up with six. But when he attempted to follow that
with the reasons Trump was �preferable,� he could apparently only think of
two.

two important bulwarks of our democracy 5. He made historic strides in Middle
East peace and kept Putin out of Ukraine. I�ll be the first to admit he has
flaws but this is ridiculous.�

during his �Monty Python� days � might have been joking.
