I didn't watch much interesting yesterday:

soaps: Mon's ep's.
DOOL - This was probably the best of the lot, and it was only half
good. After cute but EVOL! officer Goldman blows Rafe off in the town
square, Harris finally informs Rafe that Goldman was the mole, but does
not ID Stefan as the would-be assassin (so, if Harris dies, nobody will
know that it was Stefan - convenient!). Goldman informs Clyde that
Harris is still alive and her cover has been blown, and he advises her
to tie up proverbial loose ends. Clyde then calls up Ava and threatens
to kill Tripp if she doesn't break him out of prison in the next 24
hours... The rest of this episode was time-wasters with Paulina
expressing her fears of death to Marlena, and Everett hanging out with
Julie. [roll]
GH - I actually "pre-saw" half this episode in the barbers shop in
the afternoon... The main thing that happened here is that they revealed
that Jason is still alive, but disappointingly he's not the instigator
of the plot against Sonny, et al. - instead, he seems to be working
"undercover" to take the big bad down from the inside. Anyway, Jason
prevents the sniper dude from shooting Sonny, and then wastes him after
the sniper puts a couple of bullets into Dante's bullet-proof vest -
Jason stays with Dante who seems to be in distress from the gunshots to
the vest. Nothing else really happened, except Brook Lynn and "Granny"
buried the hatchet, and Cyrus and Heather Webber were hanging around and
irritating people (e.g. Portia and Laura).

Ride (CW) - Ep. #7. Some nonsense about Missy judging a rodeo beauty
pageant where her corporate overlords want one girl to win (it's
Victoria Baldesarra from "The Next Step"!), but Missy goes against them
and supports another (it's Zoe Belkin! - I didn't even recognize her!).
They also let Alexandra Beaton sing in this one (unfortunately, Beaton
doesn't appear again now until the finale).

Wild Cards (CW) - This seemed like a weak episode - or, at least, it had
a weak case: something about Det. Cole helping some accused YOUT! that
was a charity case of his dead brother... The only good thing about this
episode is that Jason Priestley's character was out of jail for the
episode, and helping on this case, which allowed him to "experience the
con" again, and play a number of different "characters" in order to help
solve the case (which wasn't that hard to solve!).

What did you watch?

Hey, thanks for asking!

A couple more episodes of PROFESSIONALS

MURDOCH MYSTERIES S17E19 “A Most Surprising Bond”

An episode that must’ve been very inexpensive to do as it all takes place
in Julius new hospital as some sort of plague breaks out, and people are
dropping like flies. Crabtree and the voluminous Mrs. Hart make appearances
as does the obnoxious reporter, but no Stottlemeyer or other supporting
cast.

Saved for later: NCISOWM

Background noise: season five of THE STREETS OF SAN FRANCISCO. The season
without Michael Douglas. I slept through most of them overnight. It’s
really not very good.

I'm not sure if I ever watched an episode of The Streets of San
Francisco or not. But I had no idea there was a season without Douglas.

I watched:

The Equalizer - "Full Throttle" - Season 4 episode 2. They sort of go
back to doing street level episodes with McCall going after a hit and
run driver. Except the episode quickly becomes an international mystery
with shootouts in the street. I have to assume CBS has market research
that says this is what the audience wants. It also occurred to me this
morning, how exactly does she finance her operation? I'm sure they must
have mentioned it in the pilot or something.

Yeah, his contract was for four seasons. So when the show got renewed for a
fifth he left amicably. His movie career was taking off by then.

They started season five with a very special two-part cliffhanger.
Douglas’s character was thinking about quitting the police force to teach
And Karl Malden already had a new partner, Apollo from Battlestar
Galactica.

They have a huge number of opening credited guest stars, like, maybe a
dozen, when three would be normal. A bunch of evil psychotic cult
terrorists, take an entire jury hostage. In the stunning conclusion of part
one, the deeply evil Susan Dey from the Partridge Family shoots Douglas… IN
THE HEART!

The Thrill Killers.

Special guest star, Michael Douglas.

Guest stars
Patti Duke Astin
Darlene Carr
Tina Chen
Jan Clayton.
Susan Dey.
Norman fell.
Gary Frank.
Paula Kelly.
Jim McMullen.
Doris Roberts.
James Shiga
Barry Sullivan.
Dick VanPatten
Joseph Wiseman
Ward Costello.
Edith Diaz
Anthony Geary
Ron Glass.

It's one of those deals like the A-TEAM, where it's supposedly a
"help-for-hire" deal where she charges for her services, but like the
A-TEAM, we only ever see the cases where she does it pro bono because
the client is so goodhearted that McCall does the work for free. Like
the A-TEAM, we're supposed to just assume there are lots of *other*
cases that McCall works which we never see where she gets paid.
