Magic Wires

I am just a simple senile poet,
you, a used up old oaf --
through the magic of wires,
we meet and you, Dockery
and you Dance have crossed the line
of decent communication.

There is nothing left but my evil
dragged out by your senseless
bravado.

I came here with nothing but
good intentions, you've successfully
removed all of that.

Outside the magic of wires, I remain
a man of respect, courteous, caring
and giving.

You both remain the same outside
as you do here, useless goons with nothing
else but living miserable lives.

Enjoy your destruction, your mastery
of narcissistic need to be right no matter how wrong.

I bow to your achievement over nothing,
for outside these magical wires, there isn't a you
or me, we're gone with the push of a button.

Enjoy your reign at the top of this fictional hill,
I remain your humble, senile poet, taking truth
from the real world and posting it here
to annoy or please or anger.

To eliminate fools, one must shoot at screens
with words, for that is what poets do.

To express love, some talk of touching holes.

To show power, some talk of Mensa numbers.

To say anything, some just say 'Hola'.

Freedom of speech, inside miracle wires, exists.

If I shout fire here, no one will smell smoke.

If I shoot someone in the head, no one will hear sirens.
