It has come to my attention that Team Monkey -- the Monkey, the Chimp, and the Big Buffoon, together with their Flunkies the MEatpuppet and the Asstroll -- would like a new name.

Michael Monkey suggested "~the poets~", a satirical name I once gave another group of trolls who were pretending to be poets. Alas, it had to be rejected since I doubt anyone would get the joke today. (Back in the day, clueless newbie wannabe poets could be recognized by the tildes they'd put on everything.)

The obvious choice would be The Monkeys and the Flunkies (or possibly The Monkey and the Flunkies, depending on whether the Chimp and the Big Buffoon are Monkeys or Flunkies). Since they all sing the same songs, the music group analogy was very fitting.

However, before the rebranding, a new name came along that fit perfectly: the Bandar-Log. That name is a literary reference to a famous poet's work; members are encouraged to Google and read up about it.

Team Monkey is the Bandar-Log.

Well, if that works better for them, so be it.

It looks like Plagiarist George has reached the Seventh Age of Man:

"Last scene of all,
That ends this strange eventful history,
Is second childishness and mere oblivion,
Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything."

It looks like Lying Michael Monkey is upset that I didn't pick "~the poets~," so he's responding with yet another ageist slur (which he ripped off from a better writer of IP).

Why would anyone care what name you call my non-existent "team"?

WTF is wrong with you, Plagiarist George?

Typical Pendragon monkey whine.

Quite humorous...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bandar-log

*********************

Bandar-log (Hindi: बन्दर-लोग) is a term used in Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book (1894) to describe the monkeys of the Seeonee jungle.

Description
In Hindi, Bandar means "monkey" and log means "people" – hence the term simply refers to "monkey people". The term has also since come to refer to "any body of irresponsible chatterers."[1]

History
The Bandar-log feature most prominently in the story "Kaa's Hunting", where their scatterbrained anarchy causes them to be treated as pariahs by the rest of the jungle.[2] Their foolish and chattering ways are illustrated by their slogan: We are great. We are free. We are wonderful. We are the most wonderful people in all the jungle! We all say so, and so it must be true. Bandar-log communicate almost entirely through the repetition of other animals' speech.[3]

The Road-Song of the Bandar-log is a companion poem to 'Kaa's Hunting', and demonstrates Kipling's strong adherence to poetic form.[3]

I don't know if anyone would trust the word of someone, just like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Donald Trump, Jr, that would turn a trans rights protest at the Supreme Court into some kind of conspiracy that some trans people and their supporters were out to get the "transphobes."

Nor someone who doesn't understand the concept of "correcting the record"

We are free. We are wonderful. We are the most wonderful people in all the jungle! We all say so, and so it must be true. Bandar-log communicate almost entirely through the repetition of other animals' speech.[3]

Sorry not my department-- real answers are realized in the after life department, down the dark hall and into the light...

But i will tell you that this is flame war and so we have unforgiving fire as you preach to your choir and fan the flames even higher. It's flame war and with it all it's scorching rancor- a vicious cycle ever stoking the furor even further. Neck deep in this inextricable quagmire you're mired, your self absorbed intentions now expire in its fires. And you call for cease fire for you tire of the returned ire, while with burning barbed irons you stoke the fires even higher. From this furor you cannot retire for you and your crew have cast your souls into the pyre...

So I will sow woe upon my foes, fire brand my foes troll blows as mine to own.
'Til the night's still cold unrest
'Til the feast of blood and chaos
To the grave, as this plague won't wash away
If there's a price we had to pay
There's no controlling, there's no one else left to blame
If there is a vice with no constraints
Mankind corroding, there's no one else left to hate
--'Blood and Chaos' ~~Paradise Lost
And so we end up with fire
The scourge of never-ending ire
Each scorched day, ignited with a dawn of fire
Our endeavors abandoned by virtues from up higher
Our saviors' words drowned out by raucous battle cries
Forsaken for our sullen shrouded skies

Long live M.A.C.!

Meanwhile, Nancy Gene is lying about of all things, Waffle House.

A quick Google search shows Waffle House is indeed still open 24 hours a day:
