I think his real problem was he probably didn't sleep much before the
night before the trial started. I have to imagine he was quite nervous
that night, as most people would be.

takes a lot of pseudephedrine, which can lead to insomnia after long
term use. The thinking is that he's ADHD and selfmedicates.

He's notorious for sitting up all night and rage-tweeting, and bragging
about how he can get by on 3 or 4 hours of sleep.

Maybe he takes a lot more naps when he's home at Mar-A-Lago than he'd
have everyone believe.
