George "BM" Dance has been publishing his blog for somewhere between 10 and 15 years. Assuming he maintains a rate of a poem a day, that's a collection of roughly 5,000 poems.

NancyGene would have to search the internet for the original version of each of these 5,000 poems; proofread them against the original; and check the author pages for errors and misinformation as well.

A project of that scale would take over a year to complete (working full time) and would cost more money (based on a standard proofreader's fee of $30/hour with additional charges for research) than Mr. Dance has ever seen.
