Okay we are going to WDW Thanksgiving Week. Are we crazy?

My opinion - yes. Definitely. I used to go that week (Tues thru the weekend) and 20 years ago it was ok. Then it quickly got more & more crowded to the point I gave it up entirely over 10 years ago. Unless you HAVE TO go that week for some reason I'd push it back a week or 2. For me personally, I choose to stay home vs go over Thanksgiving.

on Thanksgiving. Also I figured because of the limited capacity I didn't think it
would be horribly crowded. We're going from Saturday to Saturday. Hopefully
at least the beginning of that week won't be bad. The girls will only miss 2 days
of school at this time too.

Be sure to book your meal as soon as you can - that will be the first one to fill up/sell out. If there's limited capacity, that will be sooner than usual.

However, today FL governor signed an order banning ALL covid-19 related local rules/ordinances by July 1. So, in November there may not be any limited capacity.

The governor's order doesn't affect businesses, just public spaces. So
Disney can still enforce Covid-19 rules.

Yes, DIS could certainly decided to keep their own self-imposed COVID
restrictions in place. I can only thing of to reasons for that. One is
that their lawyers are telling to be overcautious to thwart lawsuits if
guests contract COVID on property. The other is that their marketing
department believes that if an abundance of overcaution is not
exercised, revenue will suffer because guests will be too afraid to
visit the parks.

I heard that too. I think I have to wait until we are 60 days out to do dining ressies, right? I tried to book the other night and it wouldn't let me.

Might or might not be offset to some degree by guests like myself who
won't visit *until* the restrictions are removed and we can go about
our trip normally. If operations were normal, I'd be there tomorrow.
Well, except that I never visit this time of year.
(Since I'm also waiting until parades and fireworks return, as well as
Boma reopening, my wait may be considerable.)

I'm in that group. Reduced capacity, lack of FP, and distancing are no
issue, but wearing a mask all day is a no-go for me. My limit is about
15 minutes before the asthma kicks in and my O2 levels drop and the
debilitating headache kicks in. I have a possible trip to Chicago in
the next few weeks and if masks are still being required for airline
flights, I'll probably end up driving.

For me it's a return to parades and fireworks, plus reopening of Boma.
Live entertainment, including the Voices of Liberty. Preferably a return
of FP, although that's less useful since they grandfathered out version
4.10 of MyDEx.

And getting rid of the stupid park reservation system that doesn't even
work properly for passholders.

Masks and temperature checks are non-starters.

I'm not expecting I'll be allowed back any time soon.

I can go about 2.5 hours in a recent test. I like the mask with the "shoe string" adjustable ears. Pro tip, if driving up 90/94 to Chitown, exit at 35th st to get around the construction at I-290. Check traffic on a website.
