I wonder how a Beatles meeting with Sinatra would have gone. Sinatra and writer Jerzy Kosinski met once. Sinatra ordered some sot of booze; Kosinski asked for tea. Sinatra, interpretating that as a request for "T" (marijuana), snarled: "Don't ask for that in public, you S.O.B.!"

Dominick Dunne once noticed Sinatra sitting across from him, staring at him, in a popular Hollywood club. A waiter approached Dunne, said, "I'm sorry, Mr. Dunne, but Frank told me to do this," and punched Dunne in the head.

Paul tells a story about Frank asking him to write a song for him on the phone. Paul gives him some song he had about suicide. Frank hears the demo and says to his people something like "Is this fucking guy serious?" and turns down the song.
