"Vincent" is a great song (perhaps the greatest), and a great recording. It is also a fusion of poetry and music (though in a manner which you are unable to understand). It's not "a great fusion," as other recordings have used the interplay of word and music to far greater extent; but it does represent a fusion of them to a small degree. IMHO, its components straddle the line between "fusion" and "complementary," and a strong case for either classification could be made.

But I'm talking above your head once more, so I'll leave it go at that.
