It is indeed a beautiful love poem. I should read or reread and use more Cummings; I can see him being another modern go-to, like WCW and Sandburg, who can always be counted on for a good poem.

I'm trying something different this February; well, actually I began trying it last year, and this is the second attempt. After more than a decade, I'm finding it increasingly hard to find good new poems for each month. At the same time, I've been building up a growing list of love poems for Valentine's Day. So I've begun stretching Valentine's Day out, to add value to the February archive. This year I'm printing 4, starting with this poem and ending next Sunday. I hope they're all as enjoyable.

Thank you. I'm glad. I love to see the poems getting more attention.

I think you may like the second poem in the series. It may sound a bit old-fashione, with its theeing and thouing, but the theme (someone falling in love with a singer) couldn't be more contemporary.
