Just found out from someone posting to the YT clip that Frances Alice
Montgomery Landreneau.died in Mississippi on April 14.

Better known to 50's music fans as "Al Montgomery" she was the woman
who recorded ""Did God Make Honky Tonk Angels?" for Jay Miller's
Feature label in 1952 which was the original version (and original
title) of the monster c&w Kitty Wells hit (as "It Wasn't God Who Made
Honky Tonk Angels")

Well he just made this one
