Martin Morse Wooster, big-name Maryland fan, winner of fannish trivia
contests, co-founder of PRSFS, was killed at age 64, while walking in
Williamsburg, by a hit-and-run driver last night.

It gets dark early this time of year. Wear a high-visibility vest if you are out for a stroll,
especially at twilight or in the dark. I like to hold a flashlight.

I was out walking and riding the bus this afternoon, and was climbing the last hill
to my apt house at sunset - 4:34 pm. I got home just in time.

I would read Mr Wooster's work in REASON and other political mags.
