Just on the slightest possibility that my Pay-T.V. (which I don't have)
might carry Disney+, I switched on the Pay T.V. selections on my On-Line
T.V. guide.

Unfortunately, they don't list the Disney+ channel ...... but they do
list the 'Fox Sci-Fi' channel which, tonight, Sunday, has "Doctor Who -
Boom Town" at 8:30p.m. followed by "Doctor Who - Bad Wolf" at 9:30p.m.

And tomorrow, Monday, at 8:30p.m. they have 'Doctor Who - Flesh and Stone'.

So is BBC getting money from two seperate Pay T.V. channels??

The series from 2023 on is the exclusive province of Disney, except for the
U.K. and Ireland where it stays with the BBC.

The series from 2005-2022 was shopped worldwide. HBO Max has it in the USA
and evidently Fox TV in Australia. When those rights revert I expect
they’ll get offered to Disney to bolster their content library.

The classic series is currently on Britbox USA and UK (now part of ITVX
premium) as well as BBC iPlayer in the U.K.

Worldwide the streaming rights for the classic series are being deprecated
over time so I suspect those are going to Disney as well some time soon,
although expect a selection to still be available to view, with ads, on
services like Pluto and Stan.

In New Zealand, the rights have often swapped between TVNZ and Sky TV's
freeview channel Prime (now called Sky Open). Some old episodes also
used to play on one or two of Sky TV's pay-for channels (UKTV? Jones!?
I can't remember now).

"Doctor Who: Eve of the Daleks" is currently scheduled to play
Wednesday, 6 December on TVNZ Two at 2:20am. That's the only Doctor Who
episode available anywhere here at the moment - there's nothing on
TVNZ's streaming service any more.
