I took my info from my 1994 edition of Whitburn's 1940-1954 chart
book.

I used to have that. The book I have replaced that one. Not sure what happened.

get his single out till November 1951 so I suggest it's a remake

Got it. They're both on my December playlist.

Dennis Day's real name was Owen McNulty and he never legally changed it.
His parents were Irish immigrants. Bing Crosby sang Irish songs and
played Irish characters, but he wasn't actually Irish. Nowadays they
might call that greenface. :)
