The wank here is that this is a sleeper ship and no one is supposed to be
awake. So why would you have alarms? If you did have alarms, they’d be in
the pod bay and set to wake people up, but that was all destroyed.

I have no idea in the world what they possibly think, scrubbing the ship
entails.
