3. Where the Rio De Rosa Flows- Jimmy Lloyd - 31 (two 2nd place_
4. About To Lose My Mind - Arthur 'Big Boy' Spires - 27
5. Dancin' Holiday- Olympics - 22

Roger's "Rockin' Pneumonia part 6" wins the group. My Nappy wins the tie breaker for second over Steve's Lloyd, but both are through safely to round 1.. Carl's Spires aspires to get to round 1, but it has to go through the 4th place pool with 27 points. And on this holiday Bill's Holiday dances off into the sunset.

song--didn't you realize that? I can't tell you what song, might even
be a classical piece, but it's certainly not original.

So originality only matters within genres?

That lets all the doo wop groups that recorded old standards and covers of current pop songs off the hook. How convenient. Does "You Cheated" by the Shields get penalized for being a cover of another doo wop group's song?? How about "Why Don't You Write Me" by the Jacks?

Does "Crying In The Chapel" by the Orioles get penalized for being a cover, or is it exempt from that because it was "original to doo wop?"

classical pieces
