To this day, I don't like thinking about Branca. I was ten, and playing hooky
so I could watch the game live, when he threw that damned pitch.

I worked in the Westvaco building at 299 Park Avenue. Bobby Thomson was an executive at Westvaco and I often saw him, usually ascending or descending the steps outside. It's worse than just thinking about the shot heard round the world.
