I saw this for the fourth time yesterday. One of my all time
favorites. Maximilian Schell, Spencer Tracey, Burt Lancaster, Judy
Garland etc. all brought their A games. Interesting camera work in
the court room scenes, too.

It addresses a timeless theme, too.

Just taking about this with a friend. Great film, but I don't like
actors who shout. Maximilian Schell is one, Peter O'Toole is another.
I get the feeling that they were hired for parts because of their
ability to shout.

I read a long time ago that Tracy's eleven minute closing speech in
the courtroom was done in one take.
