1950s Music for $100. And the answer is!

Billboard listed it as their #5 song of 1957 on their official year end Top 50 list that was in the magazine at the time.

1950s Music for $200. And the answer is!

In 1958 they won the Cash Box Disc Jockey Poll as the "Most Programmed Vocal Group."

1950s Music for $300. And the answer is!

After studying briefly at Northwestern University's music school, this trumpet player left college to become a full-time musician. His biggest hit record was with a song that had 7 different versions make the Billboard Pop charts in the same year.

1950s Music for $400. And the answer is!

This 1950s recording artist became a disc jockey in Seoul, Korea after joining the military.

1950s Music for $500. And the answer is!

One music writer said this solo "is as close to perfection as one can imagine. The eight-bar sax break is a gem of almost frightening economy. It is one of the most memorable, bluesy, and yet simple runs in all of R&B.

CORRECT, the one and only time Herb ever played a baritone on a recording. The guy who was supposed to play it could not get it right and Herb stepped in and took it.
