FINAL RANKINGS

1. Ashamed Of Myself - The Midnighters - 27
2. Second Line - Huey & Curley - 26

3. Lucky Guy - Mellows - 24
4. Let Me Hold Your Hand - Big Chenier - 23

Highly competitive group, but in the end Diane's Gospel styled burner wins by a point over Roger's Rockin' Pneumonia part 6, as both move into the ELITE EIGHT. That's 2 now for Roger, and the first for Diane.

Mark's Mellow was not Lucky here, as it fell a couple of points short to finish third, and Jim's Big Chenier was last.

It's abundantly obvious that the Big Chenier record was taken before the BBBCCNAA ( Bill Bugge Board of Creative Certification No Automatons Allowed) and deemed to be alarmingly similar to John Lee Hooker's " Dimples" thus losing precious points!

That certainly helped. You get twice as many points for a third place rankings as you do for a last place ranking.
