It came in #292 in the 1956 Singles Battle. It seems you had to win at least one round to do that. What did it lose to in round 1?

There were no prelims in 1956. I think it was the first year Roger did and he cut it short at 512 items. And it would have had a bye anyway if there were prelims.

Thiis is the original version of "Satellite Baby" by him that was in
the 1960 battle and won a round there

It's a different record, not a remake of the same record. We went through this before with something else that had changed the words.
