I'm sure many of you have been wanting octopus tentacles for dinner, but
they are not at you local store. I found them!

A friend just told me about Wild Fork. They sell frozen foods and have
quite a selection of things that the corner grocer does not have. This
is just one of them

https://wildforkfoods.com/products/fully-cooked-octopus-tentacles/

Many of the prices seem reasonable if the quality is good.

I have only had octopus a couple times. It was delicious.

Ummmmmmm, one of the local Chinese joints I frequent has them for
consumption, whole baby ones. But thanks, I'm full from a late
afternoon snack.

Tentacles can be intimidating for sensitive eaters.

Switch sensitive to squeamish. Some of us are adventurous enough to have
tried them and discovered how good they are.

I don't think I'd eat it anymore, but octopus was one of my favourite
meats, also at home.

The Koreans have discovered that the best octopus are the ones eaten while still alive. That's pretty hard to swallow - literally.

My daughter isn't cruel. She came home yesterday and was really bummed out. That had to perform an emergency operation on a stray animal that was pregnant a few days ago but was later carrying a dead baby. They removed the animal's uterus along with the dead baby. This really broke her up. The way I see it, she kept that animal from having more stray animals. Evidently, it's a high stress job. She knows of a vet that killed herself with the drugs they use to euthanize animals. Who knew?

I didn't mean Asians living in the US or Europe and I certainly didn't
mean your daughter.

I've heard of vets suffering under very serious strain in Australia as
well. They mention a few cases in the article. It's not something
you'd easily be aware of, I guess.

The dog apparently killed some of the chickens and when Kristi tried to get it under control ... the canine nipped at her ... and that's when she realized she had to put it down.

Noem says she grabbed her gun and led Cricket to a gravel pit ... where
she shot the dog to death. She adds she took no pleasure in the act,
but claims it was necessary.

Major part of our 'Rice porridge' mix. It's got 4 or 5 different
seafoods in it, varied just by what I have about. Common ones besides
octopus are mussels, shrimp, squid tentacles, and chopped cherrystone
clam. It also gets bitesized bits of vegetables and a raw egg that
cooks in the broth.

It's one of many Japanese dishes that use up bits of leftovers for a
tasty surprise. Key point to me is distinct bits that hold together.
