Oh dear lord...

That said, I do wish someone would make "32 Short Films About Otto Klemperer".

"The script is by Celi’s son, who will also direct."

So, not likely to cover the Abbie Conant incident much?

As to non-Bruckner recordings of interest, I like:

- The overtures disc, and the Wagner chunks disc (EMI)
- Schumann's Rhenish Symphony (EMI)
- Tod und Verklärung (DG or MPO's own label; DG is more intense but
final harp is badly out-of-tune)

This idea is so horrible that I wonder if this movie will ever see the light of day. I know movies don't have to open in cinemas anymore, with real people leaving their homes in order to buy a ticket, but even then it seems beyond fringe.

I guess they thought the movie about that string quartet (with that actor who ordinarily is a serial killer playing the cello) demonstrated that you can make a movie about classical musicians. But four guys on a stage acting weird is a little cheaper than a whole orchestra.
