Has Markevitch's 1946 'Cetra' 78rpm recording of his own own "Le Bleu Danube - Valse de Concert d'apres les Themes Celebres de Johann Strauss" ever been reissued on CD? ... Better still, has anyone re-recorded it in stereo? .... For starters, the opening notes, usually played on the French horn, are here played on the kettle-drums! ...
