Lennon: No, I would never go for that kind of jazz. I think that most analysis is just symptomatic where you just talk about yourself and I don't need to do that because I've done a lot of it with reporters. This [Primal Scream Therapy] seemed like something else. I've never had any time for psychiatrists and those people because I think they're cracked and crazy.

Well, as a true crime junkie, I know several cases of psychiatrists who were batsh*t crazy.

At first, I thought Lennon's claim that he didn't need any sort of psychoanalysis (because he was always talking about himself with journalists) was plausible. The problem is that, by Lennon's own admissions to people like Glyn Johns and George Martin, he often BSed his way through those interviews..
