I'm glad you liked it. Frankly, it was a last-minute substitution (I'd
planned to use a poem by an author who already it turns out already had
another poem slotted in this month.)

If I'd had it on the list, I'd probably have used it Saturday and
Oppenheim's on Sunday, as a segue to England, setting the scene for the
Spenser poem.

But, because it was short, I added a picture of a lark in flight, so it
looks good where it is; and it does flow well enough into Oppenheim's poem.

Yes, of course they are. Mackaye's poem and Oppenheim's are public
domain in the U.S., as they were published in 1915 and 1909
respectively, and also in Canada, as the poets died in 1956 and 1932
respectively.

information appears right after the poems; all she has to do is follow
the links I posted for her.
