Great stuff indeed. I originally suggested that Mr Wilson might be considered for the chief conductorship of the Concertgebouw, but I'm not sure that this orchestra could meet his exacting standards.

Student orchestra. Still sounds better than the LA Philharmonic. You could always open your wallet and buy Mr Wilson's new CD, but don't do it on a Saturday as we wouldn't want to to encourage the moths to work on the Shabbat.

Presto Music have already run out of the SACDs so you'd have to buy the download anyway. Is the San Fran orchestra better than the LA one? Hard to tell from here as, unlike the Sinfonia of London, neither appears to be making any records.
