Fantastic! That Sonata is one of my absolute faves, starting with my imprint recording (Rafael Druian, John Simms on Mercury "pre" Living Presence). The Ji Won Song performance you linked to is distinguished by her color and nuance within a rhythmically disciplined conception. Thanks!

"I don't like that..." sounds quite different from
"undistinguished" -- especially when one does
care to provide examples of more distinguished
performances.

name some examples on youtube or just name some recordings. she may have won the Liz. bu she is not well known, perhaps because her playing is not that 'distinguihsed'.........

Speculation? She is not "well known"
yet because she is at the beginning
of her career and does not appear
to have a recording contract with a
BIG NAME recording company. She
also does not wear on stage the kind
of wardrobe that made La Wang so
successful, or display on stage the
antics that allow Lang van Bang to
laugh all the way to the bank.

Real music making appears to be
very deeply discounted nowadays.
Your remarks illustrate perfectly
the classical music "deep state"
attitudes.
