Wonderful. Moving me to tears, even. I have a recording of this titled "Las Cuatro Estaciones portenas," which translates in google to "Four Seasons of Buenos Aires." The word "portenas" means a resident of a port city, but is common usage means Buenos Aires. I thought that was interesting. Sorry about the lack of punctuation.

The RAE pedant in me can't help but point out that "porteño/a" has a wider meaning than resident of a port town. The suffix "-eño/a" corresponds to the English "-ian" which denotes relation to, belonging to, or similarity to, as well as profession and where from. Within Argentina, "porteño/a," being a long established "lunfardo" slang, is a commonly used term to refer to people, things, and ideas from Buenos Aires. Elsewhere in Latin America and Spain, however, "porteño/a" refers strictly to people, things, and ideas from any port town. In Chile the term is also widely recognized as a shorthand for all things Buenos Aires, but the further north you go, the less likely people will understand it as such.

Thanks for the clarification.

Piazolla with Seoul? Not a big fan of the composer, but this was very
enjoyable, well worth hearing, and I especially liked the violinist.
Thanks to Frank for identifying what this was; I would not otherwise
have gone to the link.

Most composers have already
moved to Seoul. The classical
music life in South Korea now
surpasses the rest of the world.
The number of South Korean
classical music channels on
YouTune is simply astounding.
