Do not equate simply trying to survive as a nation and the worst of nationalism.

Which is not to say there often aren't serious issues in determining what exactly constitutes a particular nation.

I think the West is defending Ukraine not for any particular attributes of Ukraine so much as saying that Russia has no right to invade it.

It all fits with my notion that a non-representative government (Russia) has no rights at all. Not even to exist. Certainly not to invade a neighboring country with a representative government.

I think this should be obvious, nut it isn't to many.

The "West" is not really defending Ukraine. It is
only using it as a pawn in a global chess game
with Russia.

Nestlé has chocolate in the game. One
cannot pursue war successfully without
chocolate coated wafers. This is a major
blow to the Russian Armies! ;-)
