There used to be a greasy spoon downtown Calgary, owned by an
Australian. The sign outside said: “Eat here before we both starve!”

Two Australian colleagues went there for lunch and when they asked the
owner to clean their table, he threw them a cloth to do it themselves.
They felt quite at home:-)
