I have just finished this book. I borrowed it from the library through an inter-library loan, as it is not inexpensive to buy...
I must say that it has opened my eyes to a different way of looking at John and what happened to him. I don't necessarily think John made any sort of a formal pact with the devil, but that he fell prey to the enormity of the circumstances he and the Beatles had created ...

I take that back about the price. I think I was looking at a hardback copy that was about $35. Amazon has it in paperback for $20...
