performers' identities. This is not a
quizz. I am not interested in guesses
as to who this is or may be, although

OK, no mystery pianist this time. The performance reminded me of a French pianist on account of the unromantic approach and a certain nonchalance. I can't think of anyone else who would play the Scherzi like that, with the exception of ... (no names! <g>).

Going back to 2008 and earlier, one finds quite
a bit of discussion of Eunice Norton in this n.g.,
powered by incessant, relentless promotion of
her recordings by one Ed Jasiewicz, apparently
a student of hers. Listen, if you can afford the
time, and form your own opinions. I would
rank her below Slenczynska or Turdreck.
