‘Has Anyone Seen My Man’ – Memphis Minnie
‘Baby Please Don’t Leave Me’ – Buddy Guy

Pleased for him, and for you. But I can't understand why you need to
shit on everything else in order to somehow justify your own limited
preferences.

And Mick - just another white boy - no ?

If Geoff isn't a Jagger fan, he has no reason to be impressed.

He said on his list of favorite artists, "of course, Rolling Stones" so I would think he's a Jagger fan.

I'm not shitting on everything else, just on white guitar oriented rock post 1973 or so, and I say that your preferences are much more limited than mine. All I see on your list is white guitar oriented rock mainly from the 70s and 80s, along with a couple of token balck people who also play the same kind of music.

Still waiting for your list of favorite artists who peaked before 1960.

I too was born in 1957, so my life experience of 60s and prior pop is
limited to that generally heard. Of which some I consider to be great
music, some light abut fun, and some trash. Just like any era of music.

I am not so obsessive as to make lists like you, and do not discount (or
count) *anything* on the grounds of race, colour, and to a degree style.

I have a special affinity for music of merit that has 'happened' during
my period of musical awareness, and although not avoiding looking
'backwards', do not do so exclusively as you appear to revel in doing
with a particularly narrow focus.

All I see on your list is white guitar oriented rock mainly from the 70s and 80s, along with a couple of token balck people who also play the same kind of music.

So, are you saying that it's just a coincidence that all of your favorite acts are either white, or non white but with their music is in a white oriented style.

You saw my list of my 100 favorite artists. There were far more white sounding acts on my list than there are non white sounding acts (zero) on your list.

Of the 100 acts on my favorites list, 23 of them were white.

Face it Geoffy, your taste is far more limited than mine.
