Today the Daily Mirror reports that the era of the Fourteenth Doctor -
widely reported to have been cast as Jameela Jamil (The Good Place) will
fundamentally reset the Universe of Doctor Who. In the 60th anniversary
special it will be revealed that the Doctor is trapped in “the Matrix” and
has been since the events of “The Timeless Children” in 2020, with all
subsequent events exposed as artificial reality scenarios.

Then in each subsequent episode another layer of reality will be torn back
- first “Twice Upon a Time” and all subsequent episodes will be written out
of continuity, then “The Day of the Doctor”, then “The End of Time”, then
“Time and the Rani”, etc and the finale will show a now very, very old Tom
Baker still wrestling mentally with a monster called “Morbius” before
collapsing and regenerating into the next Doctor.

“I think in series 15 we might need to retcon all of this again”, said
newly-reinstated showrunner Russell T Davies. “I’m thinking that maybe ever
since the end of the ‘War Games’ (a 1969 story) the Doctor has been being
shown simulations of possible futures. Finally he regenerates and is
allowed to settle down and retire with the Master in married bliss. Derek
Jacobi and Ian McKellen are well up for another domestic comedy with them
as a bickering couple still deeply in love after all these centuries,
living in a hotel in Torquay, with Dan Starkey reprising his much loved
Strax as their landlord, and a succession of alien guests to the hotel
providing the sci fi element week on week and Alex Kingston as a recurring
guest star as River Song, the ex wife of both of them.”

My source at the BBC tells me that the reset Doctor Who is going to discover
some new abilities. For instance, the next Doctor will find out that they
can fly. I think the idea is to add in a new super power with every
regeneration. But first the Doctor has to come to terms with the virus that
infected him and the Master in Survival, and they both turn into cats at the
most inconvenient moments.

True Christians hold to Christian values. Many of those values are sound
ethical and moral positions that good people all over the world hold to -
including atheists, agnostics and those of other faiths. Anyone can
recognise them though not all would actually call them Christian values.

However, if you claim to be a Christian, but you’re a hypocrite and a
habitual liar who stands in judgement of his fellow man and spreads hate
against the teachings of your faith, as you do, anyone can recognise that
you’re being unChristian. I don’t have to be Christian to be able to state
the obvious.

One of the [many] things that turned me away from Christianity is the
most Unchristian people that I know, or have had experience of, are
the ones that were regularly at Mass on a Sunday morning.

Some people who go to church to worship think they can be nasty
people in life and it's all right as they go to church every Sunday!
The truth is that a lot of the holier-than-thou types only go to
church to be seen there so the rest of the village doesn't talk about
them... as that's exactly what *they* would do to others!

Dave is a prime example here of a Christian with Unchristian and
uncharitable views, but he is not alone among the sandal wearing
Bible bashing brigade... a lot of them are hypocrites and make a
mockery of real Christian beliefs.
