It is very difficult to stuff this work up. Maybe with more experience she (Alondra de la Parra) might restrain from the quicklash baton movements, as the orchestra doesn't really need it for this work, and are probably only watching because she is in the way. Nicely sprung performance though.

This conductor (Kristjan Järvi) enjoys the piece more and it shows to my ears. More character. With the Baltic Sea Philharmonic.
